"I believe in a unique and customized experience for each guest. Reasons for taking guided trips can vary greatly. Bio

Born and raised in Vacaville CA, Ryan obtained a high level of fly fishing experience at a young age on Putah Creek. Ryan began fly fishing and tying in 2003 and guiding in 2006. Also having worked retail in 2 fly shops.

After fishing nearly every fly destination and every freshwater species Northern California has to offer, Williams has since been able to narrow down his favorite options, settling down in the center of it all, next to Lake Oroville. Rather than guiding a few choice rivers hard for trout/steelhead throughout the year like most independent guide businesses, Ryan bounces around to many different areas, hitting all the prime seasons. Staying on top of the many different species, and hot bites found as far south as Lake Berryessa, and far North as Redding.
