Mid November is a great time slot for Lake Oroville. This is a new Fall option for the last two weeks of November. The goal is to take a little less pressure off feather steelhead as they get fished hard by this point in the season.

This is prime time. Flows will be reasonable. As technical as Putah is, for guided trips, this is the most beginner friendly time the creek has to offer. Quantity, Quality, Easy Wading, solid bug activity... This is the time of year to fish Putah!
