SUMMER (JUNE-SEPTEMBER)

Lake Oroville

Bass: Topwater, Streamers, & Float n Fly

June is absolutely prime for topwater on Oroville, the surface can be fished all day long. Throughout the Summer, streamers will be fished mid day, however we stick to 100% topwater fishing in the mornings and evenings.

Thermalito Afterbay

Bass: Topwater, Streamers, & Float n Fly

A NVFF favorite, days begin early. This is hog hunting time. Big world class largemouth in gin clear water (from the feather river). A great summer option!

Warm Water Rivers

Combo striper/bass drift boat floats are always a blast! Hard to beat these trips when the bite is on.

Putah Creek

Wild Rainbow Trout: Nymphing

Healthy flows make for healthy fish! This is an underrated time of year on the creek. Get ready for some really strong trout. The high water makes it a bit more challenging, however these fish are different this time of year... This is when you will find peak fighting power. Silver summer bullets!
