Bass: Float n Fly, Topwater, & Streamers

The number one guest favorite! Anglers will likely use all tactics throughout the season, however the float n' fly will be the dominant tactic for numbers and size. Topwater during the late spring can be out of this world... BEGINNER FRIENDLY FISHERY!

Bass & Crappie: Streamers & Float n' Fly

The other guest favorite! And THE ONLY FLY FISHING GUIDE SERVICE ON CLEAR LAKE... Early Spring is dedicated to primarily Crappie/Bass combo trips using the Float n' Fly. Anglers can usually expect good numbers of crappie with a few good 2-4lb+ bass mixed in. However this is a relatively unpredictable and big fishery. So guests never truly know what to expect out here. It's always a bit of a gamble, going for the level of fish this lake has to offer... So the payoffs can be massive!

Wild Rainbow Trout: Nymphing

Spring is absolutely prime here! All of March-May.

Dry fly fishing and/or streamer fishing may occur... The river is low enough for easy wading, yet high enough to support happy healthy fish. Bug hatches are awesome. Great time for numbers, great time for size. Truly beautiful setting as well.

Bass: Float n Fly, Topwater, & Streamers

This bite goes from March-July. Great mix of Spotted Bass, Smallmouth, and Largemouth. Close to home for many. Float n Fly is the primary tactic here. Great place to learn it!
